Northop Cricket Club is fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the well being of all its junior members.

Northop Cricket Club believes that it is important that members, coaches, administrators and parents / carers or guardians associated with the club should, at all times, show respect and understanding for the safety and welfare of others.

Therefore, members are encouraged to be open at all times and to share any concerns or complaints that they may have about any aspect of the club with Club Welfare Officer.

All junior member of Northop Cricket Club will:

  1. Play within the rules and respect officials and their decisions.
  2. Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants, members and guests regardless of gender, ability, cultural background or religion.
  3. Keep to agreed timings for training sessions and matches and inform their coach if they are going to be late.
  4. Wear suitable kit for training sessions and matches as agreed with the coach.
  5. Pay any fees for training or other activities promptly.
  6. Not smoke on the club premises or whilst representing the club.
  7. Not consume alcohol or drugs of any kind on the club premises or whilst representing the club.
  8. Refrain from using bad language at any time either whilst playing or in the pavilion.
  9. Refrain from throwing any item of equipment when returning to the pavilion or in the changing room having been dismissed.
  10. Not use any form of press coverage or social media i.e. facebook, twitter, to miss represent the club or its members, the opposition team or its members, the league or its officials or any spectators.
